This Committee is working tirelessly to raise the profile of Type 1 Diabetes, to fundraise for research into Type 1 Diabetes and to provide healthy activities to enable families to meet in a friendly, constructive, safe and informative environment.

We have established this website (please give us feedback as to content etc) and have a Facebook Group.

Each member of the Committee has personal experience of Type 1 Diabetes and is 100% committed to the Group.

We are establishing links with other local DUK Voluntary Groups including the Blackpool Area Voluntary Group.  If you have a friend or relative who would like friendship and support for their Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes in an adult environment please contact us and we will pass your details on.
